Holywell Chat is a free community for all who wish to use it. We support the Blue Ribbon Campaign for free speech. However we also recognize the importance for people to respect the rights of others. Our goal is to create a fun and exciting environment which also means a place where we don't tolerate behaviour that is harmful to others.

Rules for Holywell Chat:

You agree not to do any of the following while in Holywell Chat.

(1) harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress or discomfort upon another Holywell Chat participant, or other individual or entity;

(2) transmit any information, data, text, files, links, software, chat, communication or other materials that is considers to be unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially or otherwise objectionable;

(3) impersonate in Holywell Chat any person, including but not limited to a Holywell Chat official or volunteer;

(4) disrupt the normal flow of dialogue in a Holywell Chat room or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other participants;

(5) post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation in Holywell Chat; and

(6) violate any applicable local, state, national or international law.
